It was, but let's not get too far ahead ourselves, favored Montana State comes to Portland in 12 days and they will have seen a lot more action that UP (zero games) between now and then...

I'm told UP is actively looking for another game before they host Montana State on December 22, a game that can again be seen on NBC Sports NW with a noon tipoff.

Mrs. DD just pointed out to me that the Pilots, with a record of 2-0 over two Oregon D1 universities, are the champs of Oregon.

UO could beat OSU twice to be 2-0 against one team, but they are not currently scheduled to play either UP or PSU...

 With the bars closed it's difficult to get any sports information like we did pre-pandemic, but in an unverified text to me a short while ago, I'm told that to add insult to injury in Corvallis, this was a "buy game" for Portland!

Pretty fun game to watch even if the Pilots looked like a bunch of slophounds during the first 3 minutes of the second half.

I think there needs to be a virtual Pilot Club on Zoom at half times for WCC games.

Yup, I'm sure if you googled the 355th you will have seen this photo taken at the end of Desert Storm in 1991.

Although the squadron was prepared to go to the Middle-East back then, our airplanes painted deep forest green for a potential war in Europe, were not.  Since then, and the end of the Cold War, most USAF aircraft are painted "air superiority gray."

KenPom #130 Oregon St. defeated #173 UTSA this afternoon, 73-61, by pulling away in the last 4 minutes.

When UP beat the Beavers in OT last Thursday, the Pilots were ranked #281 and OSU was #122.
