Re: Pilots @ Oregon (Dec. 15 @ 6:00 PM)
Oregon was a preseason top 25 team (No. 13 in the first AP poll of the year) but the Ducks have been trending downhill since being boat raced by BYU last month in Portland.
After the game tonight, they'll then get ready to host the current top team in the country. Baylor will visit Eugene on Saturday.

It is odd the Ducks have not had better success this season. They are a large and athletic team with a coach on par with many of the great ones.Dean Murdoch wrote:Oregon was a preseason top 25 team (No. 13 in the first AP poll of the year) but the Ducks have been trending downhill since being boat raced by BYU last month in Portland.
Dana Altman is one of only five active coaches in D1 with 24 consecutive winning seasons...the otehrs are Hall-of-Famers Mike Krzyzewski, Tom Izzo, Bill Self and Jim Boeheim.
He is the 34th head coach to record 600 career wins at the D1 level and is the winningest head coach in Oregon history. In 2016-17, Altman led Oregon back to the Final Four for the first time in 78 years.
The 2013 National Coach of the Year and three-time Pac-12 Coach of the Year, Altman is 280-110 in Eugene, and 690-353 in 32 seasons as a head coach at the D1 level in stints at Oregon, Creighton, Kansas State and Marshall.
If UO gets their offense going against the Pilots defense that is still in the early learning process, they could score over 90 points tonight.
Las Vegas is predicting a 17-point win for the Ducks with an o/u of 141.

Pilots score 30 more points than last year's team did against UO. Guess that's something.

I did not watch the game, but it is stored on my DVR, is there any portion that is worth watching or should I just erase it all?

Pilots started a little sloppy but were not horrible. Tyler was tasked with guarding UO's big man, and he got dominated in the paint. You might look for the possession where UO got 6 offensive rebounds before finally scoring and getting fouled. Ducks dominated inside, and hit some kickout threes too. Hard to beat that.

Chris Austin: 9-10
Tyler Robertson: 4-4
Moses Wood: 2-2
Matheus Silveira: 2-2
Vasilije Vucinic: 1-3
Total: 18-21 (85.7%)
The Pilots are currently #1 in the nation (tied with Kent St.) at free-throw shooting percentage: 83.3%.
