- ensures a #7 seed and a Thursday start for BYU in Vegas if they lose to USF
- matches up the #8 Pilots against #9 USD in Vegas

Pilots already beat USD twice. Hard to win 3 times. And they have extra motivation to beat PU. That's more important than BYU's troubles. Go, Pilots.
