GAVIN PLAYING FOR GALAXY

i don't know if anybody else saw it but michael gavin started and played 90 minutes along side david beckham for the LA Galaxy against japanese side gamba osaka.

That's cool!

I'll bet his heart was pumpin' at the star of that game.

Good to see both out lads in the game. apparently they both played the whole game.

Too bad about the 0-1 result, though. Goal.com wasn't too kind to Beckham, calling his effort "merely pedestrian".

Saw Gavin play the full 90 agianst Hong Kong United..He played a really good game!
I thought I heard the commentators say that Kelly Gray had been released.

I hope they get their financials worked out! They are over the salary cap with is BAD for the rookies. If they get stuck with developmental contracts it's like indentured sevitude. They practically have to have a job aside from playing to get by.

Any update on Michael? I have noticed he's not on the current roster on the Galaxy website. Did he sign?

in a 60-minute scrimmage between the Galaxy and the San Fernando Valley Quakes (USL-Premier Development League), the Galaxy won 3-1 behind first half goals from Carlos Ruiz, Michael Gavin and Landon Donovan...

I also heard that Michael signed on with the Galazy's 18 man roster.

Damn...Too bad. I mean it's great he signed...but a developmental spot is tough, especially with the cost of living in LA.

the galaxy announced today that they have now moved gavin up to the senior roster and brandon mcdonald to the developmental roster...
