Senior Night: Thanks Sherrard!
Again, too lazy:

And, of course, you should all come out to the game to say so long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, good bye (and, of course, adieu, adieu, to you and you and you!) to the 2007-08 Pilots and especially to give a nice round of applause to our only senior, Sherrard Watson. Sherrard came to the program as a walk-on four years ago, and I'll be honest... at first I never thought he would develop into much of anything. But he continued to work and improve, and by his junior season he was a vital cog of the team. This year, he served as a team captain and I think he's done a very nice job of helping the guys gel and leading by example. He's had a tough year in terms of offense, but he can always be counted on to play his hardest and to do what he can to help the team win. Sherrard may not go down as one of the all-time greats at UP, but he will definitely go down as someone who improved by leaps and bounds while he was here, was a great teammate, and who gave his all trying to help the Pilots win. So come to the Chiles Center and give him his well-deserved standing ovation. We'll miss you, Sherrard and thanks for all your hard work!

Agreed. Thanks to Sherrard for his 4 years in purple. From earning a schollie his sophmore year to single handedly taking over a game or 2 this year, Sherrard had been a great Pilot to watch.
THANK YOU SHERRARD!

Re: Senior Night: Thanks Sherrard!
I'll be honest, I've never been a big fan of Sherrard's game on the offensive end of the floor. I just don't see him as the caliber of starting SF you need to win at this level, but more of a role player. Just my opinion. But I've got to give him credit for the following:
1. He's gotten better every single year. He's so much better than the kid who could barely hold the ball without travelling or turning it over his first couple years.
2. He always plays hard, especially on the defensive end.
3. He's a quality kid and a good representative of UP.
Good Luck Mr. Watson. You're a fine example of what hard work and a positive attitude can do.
