Woznuk Left Off Qualifying Roster
U.S. Women's Olympic QualifyingCHICAGO (March 31, 2008) – U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Pia Sundhage has chosen the 20-player roster to travel to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, for 2008 CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying as the USA attempts to earn one of two berths to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
I see Stephanie's name but not Wozzie's. Wonder if she's injured, or just didn't make the cut?
Anybody know? I'm kind of surprised by this.

Angie's an ironman (gal). Had she missed any games due to injury during her Pilot career? I don't remember that she had! I hope she heals quickly, gets back in action and makes the Olympic roster.

Re: Woznuk Left Off Qualifying Roster
Here's some info on Wozzie from the Women's National Team blog:
Some were wondering why midfielder Angie Wonzuk didn't make the Olympic qualifying roster, and while of course those decisions are up to head coach Pia Sundhage and her staff, we will report that Wozzy was a bit injured (back) and wasn't quite ready to go full out in important matches. After some good rehab over the next few weeks, she should be ready to compete for a spot on the active roster for the USA's first domestic match of the year against Australia in Cary, N.C. on April 27.
