If the teams don't play defense, this game sounds like it could be a three point shooting fiesta. We shoot 41%, and they shoot 39%? We were 4th in the nation there the last time I heard, and they might be in the top 10 too at 39%. This game might be about who plays better perimeter defense...

The Stockton, Ca Record article, listed above, says we are currently #2 in the nation (behind Cal) and that Pacific is #21.

I'm talkin to myself here, but it sounds like we're clicking nicely and NIK is on fire!!!

I'm using the computer to catch the streaming video. Payed $5, and they throw stupid signs like "Stop Em" and "Defense" in frnt of the screen when we have the ball.

We keep shooting like that and we stand a chance

I really think we need to get to the free throw line more often, in general.

Before Luke's current trip to the line, we have had 5 FTs compared to Pacific's 14, after 25ish minutes of play. If we could get to the line more, that could really help.

Is it just me, or is Pacific the only team in the NCAA with player photos on GameTracker?

Three minutes left and Pacific is shooting 63% from the floor with six more free throw attempts than we have.

Kolker just said we're being outscored 40-12 in the paint.

We have come out FLAT in the second half.

It has been ugly.

Down by 9, 1:48 to go. Pacific's 62% from the field seems to be helping them. Along with 12 Pilot turnovers.

Second half points in the paint, according to Gametracker:

Portland: 4
Pacific: 28

Maybe I was misunderstood.

I meant WE should shoot around 65%, not them.

Down by 4 with 45 seconds.

Maybe, just maybe...

Down 8, 32 seconds.

Maybe not.

Maybe next year they can work on not letting games get away in the second half.

The second half stats are horrid. So many shots went in and out, we just lost our touch...
