Summer Vacation Plans...
Does anyone have any cool Summer vacation plans? I found a really nice area where I'm going to go camping with some friends on the San Juans for the 4th of July weekend near Friday Harbor:

It just looks amazing. I thought I'd let you know about this place...

I'm off on a trip right now. I'm watching my old Lacrosse team try for a D3 National Championship.
My Alma Mater beat Stevenson U. today to get into the national championship game next weekend. Though they have been in the tournament every year since forever, this is only their third shot at the title. And they have a pretty good shot, already having beaten two #1 ranked teams.

Gettysburg meets Cortland next Sunday for all the marbles. I'll be there.

Heading to Ashland next week on my family's annual pilgrimage to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Then back home to try and find a job . . .

Re: Summer Vacation Plans...
Places I've been the past month or so: Vermont (pretty much the whole state); Portland, ME; Bangor, ME; Portsmouth, NH (just to see the Redhook brewery); Boston, MA (twice); Cooperstown, NY; Conway, NH; and Orlando, FL.
Next week we are going to Atlantic City, NJ and Milton, DE (Dogfish Head brewery).
The week after that the wife and I are heading back home, our trip will include a stop at Niagara Falls, a drive through Canada, and a stop in South Bend, IN (if I can find free room and board...that means you Rochin54).
I've been pretty spoiled this year, next year I might have a job, which would mean not as much time for travel...but certainly one trip to Vegas in early March, and hopefully to a first round tourney site!!

Dude... Atlantic City? Awesome.
Going to New Mexico for a wedding in August, but that's about it.

Phew! I was starting to wonder whether you were going to pass us up this time through!
We are heading on an Alaska cruise late July/early August. This will be preceded by fishing and hiking for a weekend with some friends in Anchorage. Very excited for that.
Labor day will see us heading to the Lake County Fair and Round-up which is awesome (hello demolition derby!!), followed by a drive up to Portland for the second half of the week.

Question... Is the Lake County Fair in any way affiliated with the awesomeness that is the Mosquito Festival??

No - Paisley owns the Mosquito Festival - the county couldn't take it if they tried!

Haha well, after experiencing the weekend crowd at the Lakeview bars I can only imagine the crowd at the demo derby is equally awesome/worth the price of admission...

Also, I saw recently that the Oregon Brewer's Festival is July 23-26, that might be a good excuse to visit family and friends...we shall see...
