Re: Soooo....Blount?
Why are there chairs that aren't bolted to the concrete in the stands?
Why not just leave brickbats around?

It looks to me like one of those bleacher seat "cushions" but that thing looks a bit rigid... I hope "Mr. Revenge" gets his due punishment.

Re: Soooo....Blount?
I'm not sure what is more offensive on Boise State's end...
Replaying the punch over and over on the scoreboard, verbally (and apparently physically) assaulting an opposing player after the game, or that stupor inducing Smurf turf....

I'm not 100% convinced that was a punch. I want a better camera angle.

Coldsmoke, looks like a slap to me for sure, which almost makes it more pathetic.

I like the carbon fiber pattern on the numbers, but yeah, those wings are kind of weird....DaTruRochaldo wrote:My bet is whatever they are, they are ruined by chicken wing fossils on the shoulderpads...

Re: Soooo....Blount?
Rumor has that the N-word was being used, which helped set Blount off. I suspect that is why he veered from the walk to the locker room to confront the fans. No excuse, but Boise is not clean on this one.

Was at Autzen Saturday, and I found the numbers very hard to read live, but easier to see on the HD replay screen. On the all green unis the wings did not stand out.

Re: Soooo....Blount?
Did that feel like rain to you? I thought it was for a second, but it never rains in Autzen Stadium...
Before the game the band director told us the same thing as always: When you're in the tunnel waiting to play the pregame, get up against the wall so the players don't run you over.
A voice in the back (no, not me--but it was a trumpet player): "Or Legarrette Blount will sock you."
Too soon? Nope...

Re: Soooo....Blount?
White helmet/green jersey/gray pants (NO, those are not "silver" despite what you call them) is a terrible combination.
I'll take the win. I'll even take a Husky win over the Trojans. USC irritates me.

Re: Soooo....Blount?
Yeah..... Just because there are 85 billion combos doesn't mean all of them actually look good.... They kind of looked like what a 6 year old does if you were to let them pick their own outfits for school....

Re: Soooo....Blount?
I don't know, but I think this is true: ESPN had a short piece of Casey Martin (the former PGA golfer, now UO's golf coach) talking about how he picks out the combos. Huh???

Re: Soooo....Blount?
So first off: The D was there like it has been, and the O seems to have come together...
Yellow helmet, green jersey, yellow pants? Boooorriing...
Those were a tribute to the Rose Bowl team, BTW. Seeing them on the field again really hits home how classy a look that is/was.

Re: Soooo....Blount?
John Strong broke the news during the Timbers' playoff match tonight and now Jay Allen is elaborating: Chip Kelley will call a press conference tomorrow to outline a possible change is Blount's status. Reports indicate he could be reinstated if he meets a list of conditions.
Stay tuned @ 11 tomorrow morning...

Re: Soooo....Blount?
From the "O"
beautiful.
Kelly has refused to answer further questions about Blount but has referred to a "plan'' that evidently outlined steps Blount could take to be reinstated.
A reinstatement would be a reversal of the stance taken by Kelly and athletic director Mike Bellotti at a news conference on Sept. 4 to announce the suspension along with a statement from university president Richard Lariviere supporting "the decision made by coach Chip Kelly.''
"LeGarrette Blount will still be on our team,'' Kelly said at the news conference. "LeGarrette Blount will just not play for us on Saturdays.''
Oregon's next game that does not fall on a Saturday is the Civil War on Dec. 3. Of the possible bowl games, only the Emerald Bowl falls on a Saturday (Dec. 26).
beautiful.

Re: Soooo....Blount?
I hope they win out and make it to the Rose Bowl and LaGarrette Blount plays. Then he can rush for -12 yards in a 49-7 loss to Ohio State and during the post-game handshake he can sucker punch Terelle Pryor. That would be WAY more entertaining than him not playing in the Emerald Nuts Bowl presented by Byron Hout.
