The ball runs SO fast on the field, it reminds me of playing on an old astroturf field... The ball runs so much, even slightly inaccurate passes roll right out of play... ugh...

A player that I'm sure bumped him or stepped on his toes or something, which is a card, and one elbow to the back is barely a yellow, let a lone a red

That was a truly bizarre game. The Lobos dominated the first half, but were able to come up with only the one goal. The Pilots had much the better of the second half, with only an occasional Lobo run, and Collen tied it up. The picture was so bad, I really couldn't see the goal. Then the overtime and Austin gets a red card. I'm thinking, oh no, this could end in a shoot out. Then, the Lobos blow an attempted trap, Collen scores, and the Lobos are down on the field trying to figure out what happened.

On to NC State - without Austin playing, unfortunately.

But still, great grit by the Pilots, on a packed dirt field with 3500 opposing fans and at altitude.
