From his Twitter:

"In addition to a great start to the season on the court, our guys had a great Fall semester. Team GPA was 3.0. Proud of our team."

That's very impressive... a B average for the entire team, with practices and games and travel taking up much of their time. Well done, and congrats to the team and the coaches... and the athletics department, especially Dan McGinty, for supporting the student athletes.

McGinty is a hero. That guy does everything he can to help out the student-athletes. Really good guy too.

Good job by the guys too. There have been some rough GPAs over the years Smile

Merry Christmas fellow Pilot Nation Fans!!!

Another calender year under our belt and I would like to personally thank PilotNut, Rob's Jacket, and Sci-Fi for starting, and continuing this site. It has been an excellent source of information, exchange of idea's and chance to meet fellow Pilot fans. Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!

Great grades for the men again, I know Ethan, Robin, and Kramer are pretty consistently all WCC with their grades. What a good group of players. I guess you could call Jasonn our "thug" lol (You know who don't try to make a deal out of this its a funny, har, har), but not really , he's such a likeable guy and so talented musically.I have a strong suspicion he's not too bad in the classroom either.

One stepping stone Rev will always have at UP is it has high academic standards. It cant just admit every John Wall or Brandon Jennings (Just example's) that comes along. Then once a player gets here they have to mantain their grades. I have a feeling there is another school in the WCC, cough, pirat cough, that somehow doesnt have the academic standards UP currently has. Congrats to the academic advisor, players , coaches, and even SS , beat the Wolfpack!!!
