Pilots @ Pepperdine * Sunday 11/4 1pm
Second to last game of the season. No GameTracker that I can find. I believe this is the only one of our 18 regular season games that does not have Livestats. No audio either. So we are deaf, dumb and blind, I guess, untill the final score is announced.
Does anyone know of a sports news outlet that gives scores of games in progress? At the very least, a half-time score would be nice.
If we want possible home playoff games, we need to win these last two games. That would be, I believe, eight straight wins to end the season, including an undefeated conference season. We're curretly ranked third nationally. I think two convincing wins to end the season would put an exclamation point at the end of our season record, and hopefully the NCAA gods would treat us with the dignity and respect that we have earned. We have overcome a ton of adversity this season. To finish so strongly would be a genuine marvel!

I can't come up with a live update on scores for games in progress for this game. I'm hoping they give updates at the Men's game.
It looks like we will be a seeded team, so in that sense, the NCAA will give us some respect.
Even if we win both games, we will once again be dissed, it appears, by having to travel to another venue for the first weekend.
Washington State lost to Cal on Friday, and still has to play Stanford (today), USC, and UCLA. Their hopes of a tournament bid are pretty slim.
Ditto for Gonzaga, Washington, Eastern Washington, Oregon, and Oregon State. These are the only teams that fit into the 350 mile rule. Unless one of them gets in, we'll once again be the only seeded team that has to travel for the first two rounds. The current policy is to only fly two teams the first weekend. The third team must be a "local" team. This is ostensibly to save money, but the fact is the NCAA will lose the proceeds from two guaranteed sold out crowds at Merlo (probably $80,000). We'll probably travel to play somewhere in front of two "crowds" of 400, from which the NCAA could expect to net maybe $6400.
We will probably get the second weekend at home. Whether we stay at home for the round of 8 is still up in the air.

This page lists the game if you scroll down to Women's soccer. It really doesn't look like its live updated since the game should have started about 40 minutes ago and it lists nothing. But it might update at some point during the game. Its the best i could find.

Good job, Pilots! Goals by Enyeart and Woznuk. Another shutout. WCC outright conference championship. One BIG game left - at Merlo next Saturday night.
Let's win big, and let the (NCAA) chips fall where they may. (And you can take that last remark anyway you would like!)
