OK, here are some hints. Obviously, all of the Up coaching staff except Bill are ex-UP players.
Even he is a UP grad.
But there is another player in the following video now coaching in the WCC.

Can I add trivia question #8?
Where, in the alphabetical listings of schools by name, is the greatest density of top 50 teams (2009 top 50)?

Well, if you include "University of ..." it's no contest. Let's rule that out and use the NCAA's naming system.
From Marquette to Missouri there are 8 top 50s out of 19 schools, which makes 0.42 top 50s per school in the sequence. But, there's another sequence that is even denser with top 50s.
Two hints: I didn't say they all had to begin with the same letter. And, the Pilots played three of the top 50s from that sequence last year.
Re: 2010 preseason trivia questions.
Well, we played two Public state-name schools with California, two with Washington, and two with Oregon in their name. So
we played three Pairs in the sequence that made it to the top 50. The whole WEST COAST!
another California named school made the cut, but USC is private, so I count it out.
There were also other public state-name pairs that made it:
two schools With Florida in their names
two with Virginia
that's 10/10 teams.
And two schools whose names contained San Diego, but as with USC, one was Private, and neither is named for a state. They don't count.
Other possible D1 Public state-name duplicates had only one of their public Di team teams in the top 50. The states were
Arizona
Georgia
Maryland
Michigan
Mississippi
Missouri
North Carolina
Ohio
Oklahoma
South Carolina
Texas
that's 11/22 possible teams. And it means the East coast is pretty well represented, too.
Colorado College is out. it's private
I'm discounting name-pairs like Virginia and West Virginia, those aren't the same state.
Other public State-name schools in the top 50 don't have D1 state-name pairs to double up with. an example would be Penn state, which can't pair with the University of Pennsylvania and meet the Public pair criteria.
so, counting Possible D1 duplicate names with state names in the top 50, that's a density of 21/32, or .656
How's that?

- Spoiler:
- wait... we also played 3 teams that have a double "L" in their name...
NO, WAIT, lots of those states have Coast Lines...
