LOL, DTR I believe you should start watching "conspiracy theories" with Jesse Ventura they may have a show based on the overthrow of MAX GOOD down at LMU, lol...Contrary to interpretation if my confounding writing style & grammar...I'M A GLASS HALF FULL GUY, and here in Zona am confident that PILOTNUT's mathematical equation will be a reality....but I'm sure someone on PN will so disagree profusely because I'm new to BB(having played (I believe Cjacks & I are the only two who frequent this PN BOARD can state that trueism),&in addition watched it for the last 37 yrs & have"only"been a Pilot bb fan for 5 yrs .But that may not qualify me for a clear and balanced opinion on here because I may have gotten one too many elbows to the head actually playing the game near the level were discussing, sic...

SCU, currently in 4th, is 6-4, and if we beat them and GU beats them, even if they win @LMU & @Pepp, they also finish 8-6.
Based upon the WCC seeding tiebreaker scenarios, we would get the higher seed based upon our win over SMC... I think we can still get #4 seed if we go 2-2 (as long as we beat SCU), and SCU goes 1-3.
Heck, if we go 4-0, we still have a shot at #3 seed, if USF goes 1-3.
Both USF and SCU have to come to the NW and also have home games vs. Pepp & LMU. Pepperdine is proving to be no slouch...
Now that I look at it, the #2 seed is still mathematically possible...
Yeah, I personally think 3-1 is more realistic, but, 4-0 is not out of the question as long as the guys take one game at a time. I think that Stohl will find his shooting touch at home again...whether he can bring it to Vegas is another question. In my opinion, a lot of the questions about how good we can be or how far we can go have to do with how consistently Douglas plays and how much we can limit turnovers. If we could limit our turnovers to 12 per game in every game like we did against LMU, we would be in great shape. But, our guys seem to struggle with long arms and solid perimeter defense. That concerns me more than Stohl having an off night on the road now and then when other guys are still clicking...

You astonish me, sir!
I should remind you that no one ever pulled a mutiny on Jack. There was that time in the Leopard after they struck the iceberg near Antarctica that some of the crew left in the cutter, but that wasn't a mutiny so much as a mutually agreed upon - "you try it your why, I'll try it my way kind of thing."
Which you didn't think you could slip this one past me, did you? That was coming it a trifle high, and it was as easy as kiss my hand to smoke it! What stuff. I'm afraid you've been brought by the lee again, my particular friend.
Now pray be a good fellow and crack like smoke and oakum for Thursday. For all love, I am with child to see the Pilots beat the Dons. I should like it of all things.

Could we start a new "Patrick O'Brian" forum on here? We can wage our epic post count war there.
