Timbers v Dallas
Timbers up 2-0 at the half and showing opening night was no fluke.
Goals from Jewsbury ( from Wallace) and Cooper ( header off corner from Jewsbury)
An interesting stat- Dallas had 83% of possession in the first half. I don't believe it, but even if it is true, the timbers had almost all the dangerous chances.
I thought the Timbers actually did well with the ball when they had it.

Deja vú all over again
Timbers score again in the 55th. Goal from Wallace( great work from Cooper andPerlaza or Alhassan)
Now, if they can avoid the letdown.

And with 5 to play, Dallas gets the second back. If they hold true to form, Cooper will get one in a minute.

Phew! Timbers hold on, 3-2... A brilliant save by Gleeson in the final minute to save the win!

Re: Timbers v Dallas
Puts PDX in fouth place in the West. Ahead of the other Cascadia teams, and tied for the league lead in scoring. Who'd a thought?

Re: Timbers v Dallas
I have to give it up to the defense this weekend. It was a huge area of concern after the first couple games but they really have come together in a big way.
Kenny Cooper's work rate is tremendous, right up there with...I hesitate to say this because it's such a high bar...Keelin's.
