PortlandPilots.com is useless to me
Just tried the regular PortlandPilots.com site and the menus at the top no longer work on my iPad. The mobile version won't let you navigate to schedules, etc.
I am NOT wandering upstairs to the desktop machine every time I want to use the site, so it doesn't exist for me.
Too bad.
Anyone else having these issues on a mobile device?

You can look at everything on the mobile site. I just tried it. Hit "menu" on the top right and then click the team. Scroll to the bottom and hit "schedule." But, I tried on an iPod so I don't know if it looks different on an iPad.
Also, the regular site worked fine for me too. Probably just a little glitch is all.

Thanks, but the "menu" button on the mobile site doesn't work either. It is just decoration.
On the regular site, if I try any drop-down menus I get an "open" selection menu instead of the drop down selection. Choosing "open" just gets a random selection.( for instance, choosing "schedule" gets me women's cross country today)
I did do a sync with my software yesterday, Have you done one recently? I'm wondering if Apple snuck in some undocumented iCloud "feature"
I also remember last year something like this happened when stretch net did some system work.

Could be a little system work... I know what you are talking about with the menus though. Do you tap it or hold your finger down? When I hold it down the whole menu opens and I can click a link. My two cents.

It doesn't seem to matter which touch method I use. What iOS version is on your machine?
I did just grab my ancient first generation iPod and everything works fine in both the mobile and classic versions, so Apple must have given me a wonderful upgrade on the iPad when I synced. I'll have to find out how to revert to the old software, I guess.
They no longer update the old software on the 1st gen iPod. It's still loaded with iOS 3.3 and the original Safari.

Yup, I just tried mrs. Geezer's newer iPod and everything works fine on that.
It is loaded with iOS 4.3
My iPad is loaded with iOS 4.3.3. ( build 8j6)
<edit>
oops, apparently the upgrade turned JavaScript off in Safari. Turned it back on and everything works again.

That is the same generation iPod and OS that I was using. Well, I'm glad it all got worked out.
