Leave it to our psychology major to not know if he's at home or on the road.

Watch home games only; it won't be a problem!pilotram wrote:Great unis! (only complaint is the white belt buckle....looks kinda weird but whatever.)
Are you heading to Las Vegas in December to watch both your teams?

Re: New Nike uniforms
Not sure if I like the black trim on the white jersey, but it looks pretty sharp on the purple one... It would have been nice if we could see the full home uniform

Two-tone
I don't know, maybe we should go bold and start the two-tone trend.....I've seen it in Europe.

Re: New Nike uniforms
Don't get me wrong, I like these, but I don't see them as a huge upgrade over our previous uni's. What's so special about them? I bet the road jerseys will still look blue on TV. Maybe a side-by-side comparison would bring out the highlights or perhaps the cut/fit has changed but otherwise, I don't see a significant perk to these new uni's for what they probably cost.

Nike supplies them. They don't cost anything.

Re: New Nike uniforms
I think they are a sharp looking uniform. I especially like the bottoms, the vented look is nice.

Re: New Nike uniforms
At least it doesn't say something cheesy on the back of the uniform like "Go Zags." That one pains me.
Also, it that little blue dot the WCC logo? Aren't we supposed to have the WCC logo on our unis?

Re: New Nike uniforms
Hmmm, what is that little blue square? Unless the WCC has again changed its logo, I don't think that's what it is, but I guess it could be:RipCityPilot wrote:Also, it that little blue dot the WCC logo? Aren't we supposed to have the WCC logo on our unis?
Maybe it's the Vietnamese workers union label.

Re: New Nike uniforms
It's an NCAA Basketball logo. They started appearing on jerseys the last couple seasons as teams got new ones. The WCC logo will go somewhere, I'm sure.

Hahahah what is the point of even bothering with a logo that small?

Why is the NCAA logo in UNC/UCLA colors?

My first thought was Saturn? My second thought was insipid! And my third thought was why?

Re: New Nike uniforms
I think these uniforms are a step down. I don't like the black trim. Unnecessary. Also, I really appreciated that last year's uniforms did NOT have a Nike swoosh on the lapel. Last year's unis were just more clean and classy.
It's also kinda sad that every team has basically the exact same jersey now. Thanks, Nike!

Well... when you are handing out uniforms to hundreds of schools you cannot expect a whole lot of variation.

Not a lot you can do with a tank top and the NCAA uniform rules. It's not a professional football kit.

Slow Summer
You know it's been a slow, warm summer when the fashion police start complaining. As soon as the games begin, we won't even notice the uniforms.NoPoNeighbor wrote:I think these uniforms are a step down. I don't like the black trim. Unnecessary. If you don't like the new uniforms, you might have liked the snug ones we wore back in the 60's in high school........
