That's a terrific piece, except that now everyone thinks we play in an arena with seating for about 30 in balconies...

Which when I think about it, is kinda cool.

Except, as most know, the Howard Hall balconies were closed down by the fire marshal some time ago......

Good point; I was thinking the same thing.

I believe the new logo fits well with everything UP is doing with the RISE campaign and athletics....it's fresher and cleaner....but it's good to see the traditional logo show up from time-to-time just as a reminder of what, for many of us, was the good old days at UP.

My dream is that - hopefully sometime soon - the wheel can come back and be used as an alternate/retro logo.

I completely get why the change needed to be made and that there needs to be an adjustment period, but I think there's a point when bringing it back is not only OK, it should be encouraged.

I'm working on it. I may be a voice in the wilderness at the moment, but believe me - I'm working on it. This video is evidence.

My personal favorite piece of this commercial? That the Howard Hall 48 star flag makes an appearance. Hope that thing goes under a cornerstone someday soon.

I see Korey is now listed as the Pilots' Assistant Director of Academic & Student Services!

Amen. You are not alone, although the newest alternative logo with the anchor has grown on me.
