It's not so hard. You just serve it in a Martini glass.

No, but I bet there could be if we asked Bill Reed to set it up for us. Maybe in time for the Texas-Pan American game on December 29.ShipstadPilot11 wrote:Is there Brrr in the HOF room?!DoubleDipper wrote:I was telling ShipstadPilot11 earlier this evening how much I really enjoy Widmer’s Brrr Seasonal Ale…..

A) I won't be here.DoubleDipper wrote:No, but I bet there could be if we asked Bill Reed to set it up for us. Maybe in time for the Texas-Pan American game on December 29.
B) I don't have HOF credentials
C) You'd best hurry; my understanding is that Brrr kegs, 1/2 barrels in particular, are scarce right now and no more are coming.

I have a beef here. Widmer pulls the always delicious Okto in early October and starts Brrr. IMO, they need to move the distribution dates forward a few weeks. Okto should be available until Halloween (and no need to start it in mid August--it's still too warm out), which would then make Brrr available at least until New Year's Day.

You know, I agree and I'm not sure why the distribution patterns are the way they are. Widmer's Oktoberfest is at the beginning of September (weekend after Labor Day), so that explains why Okto's out so early. Honestly, though, I'd rather be drinking Citra Blond in early September. I saw Brrr in stores as early as 9/30 this year, which surprised me greatly. I'd love to see it pushed back to 11/1.PilotNut wrote:I have a beef here. I understand this concept... but quite frankly they could make Citra Blond and Okto until St. Patrick's Day, and I would still want more on March 18th...up7587 wrote:"Always leave them wanting more."

By the way, if you like Citra, try this. It's not the same but it's similar and tasty in it's own right.PilotNut wrote:I understand this concept... but quite frankly they could make Citra Blond and Okto until St. Patrick's Day, and I would still want more on March 18th...

That's a VERY good point, and I too understand the concept; I always thirst for the first opportunity to gulp down a Brrr each fall, but might not feel the same if it was available year-round.up7587 wrote:"Always leave them wanting more."
My only beef is ShipstadPilot11:
Hmm, I gotta admit, he might be a little difficult to get in under the radar (not enough gray hair), but "I won't be here?" Really?A) I won't be here.
B) I don't have HOF credentials

I was noticing on the display at the Chiles Center they had the games listing screwed up.
At one point they had us playing TPA twice , and Gonzaga playing us the same day as one of the TPA games.
Tough schedule.

Really, you're taking the time to read displays in the Chiles Center? You carry that huge tablet everywhere go....that's where all the "truthiness" is...PurpleGeezer wrote:PilotNut wrote:Uhhh.... Texas Pan-Am on 12/29?!
