Taylor Babcock, Midfielder.  Mercy  High in Northville, near Detroit.

She is also an accomplished ice Hockey player and she should be. Her dad is Detroit Red Wings coach and 2014 Olympic Champion Canada's coach  Mike Babcock.

So.. A casual converation with folks who should know reveals that UP has the classes for 2015 and 2016 pretty well set, with the caveat that they could always find a spot for that special player.

With the help of a two-goal efforts from both Aleena Garcia and Hanna Armendariz, the Bishop Amat girls soccer team took sole possession of first place in the Del Rey League, defeating Bishop Montgomery 4-0 at Kiefer Memorial Stadium on Thursday afternoon.
The Lancers (9-6, 2-0) scored two goals early in the contest, with Garcia and Hanna Armendariz each scoring in the first 11 minutes of the game.
“It’s a good win,” Bishop Amat head coach Ruben Gonzalez said following the team’s sixth consecutive victory. “It’s only our second league game this year, and we are just trying to win as many games as we can to finish on top this year.”

To Indigo Kid's comment: Lusby was known to be going to the Pilots. She's another Metro League goalkeeper and another in the FC Portland pipeline to the bluff. She was injured last year and came back this year. In the games I saw, she looked a little rusty, so it's hard to tell how good she will be. She was an all league player her sophomore year and then again this year. The Metro league was an interesting one this year with Lusby and the Lamont (Jesuit keeper, Crossfire, going to Oregon State) getting the props, although the GK from Southridge probably deserved the accolades for the year she put together. It will be interesting to see how both Lusby and Luty develop.
