I kind of missed that she didn't do it for the NWSL.

Thanks Geez for letting us know Dani was writing again. I had thought the same thing about her doing it during the NWSL season.

Dani does a great job writing these and had often thought she should keep doing them. Who knows, she might have an opportunity to compile in a book... Tales of a Roaming Pilot... or something like that. She's definitely captured some of the challenges of being a female soccer player trying to make a living.

Although this is a wonderful opportunity for her to see another continent, the key to this is her mission. I plan to re-check my budget to see if I can send a donation to her cause. Part of what this involves relates well to what Kelsey Davis did in Kenya a few years ago. The recent issue of Portland had many stories of UP alums doing benevolent things all over...so proud to know many of them...very good people.
