2015 Tournament Pick 'em
I renewed the league early this year so those of you who want to start filling out your brackets on Sunday can do it.
https://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/group/40471
Password is purplepride
Since it's been years since he's had to pay up, I'm sure PilotNut will renew his offer of a bucket of beer to the winner
Edit: Alternate link
I've been told that the link above doesn't get you to the spot to put the password in. If you are having trouble, try this link https://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/register/joingroup
Then click join a private group. It will pop up a box to put in 40471 as the group and purplepride as the password.

I think he drank the bucket of beer himself.

Re: 2015 Tournament Pick 'em
I've taken a "screw it" attitude to my brackets this year, and I'm basically randomizing every bracket, with some exceptions (16's). I kid you not, Yahoo randomized Kentucky to the championship. If that isn't a sign...

Re: 2015 Tournament Pick 'em
If anyone has suggestions for a modified prize structure, I am willing to listen. The bucket o' beers at The Orleans, while delicious & refreshing for those of us in attendance, has not paid out recently (not unlike the slot machines I played all weekend)... Ideas?

Got it!
Thanks blacksheep, you are definitely my favorite poster on here with a livestock-themed username. Except for maybe pilotram.

I'm just happy to be in the top two.
The key is to never really post anything meaningful. Lots of sarcasm, lame jokes and beer posts.

Re: 2015 Tournament Pick 'em
Now that the play in games (first four, first round, or whatever the heck we are calling them) are done (nice work BYU), you can all finalize your brackets.
Remember that you have until 9:15 tomorrow morning to get signed up, fill in your bracket, or make any last minute changes.

Re: 2015 Tournament Pick 'em
Even though I had Baylor in my bracket, I couldn't help but root for Georgia St. What a finish for them!
Shipstad, hopefully you'll get a correct pick by the end of the day.

Re: 2015 Tournament Pick 'em
Northeastern had the ball with 20 seconds to go, down 2, and couldn't get a shot off??
BTW, they were only in that position due to a bad ELOB from ND! Is it a Holy Cross thing?

A 13-0 run and a three-pointer to win it with less than 3 seconds left....how can you not love that!blacksheep wrote:Even though I had Baylor in my bracket, I couldn't help but root for Georgia St. What a finish for them!
I picked Baylor to go pretty deep, but I'm glad I witnessed Georgia St.'s victory and their already injured coach flying to the floor as the ball went through the hoop.
I've got SMU picked over UCLA, but would much rather see the Bruins pull the upset after all the bad-mouthing they've gotten for "not belonging."
This is kind of a new experience....rooting against your bracket....but you've got to love the underdogs....have Pilots basketball fans ever rooted for the favorites?!
