Tournament Pick'em
After some technical difficulties, I have been asked to carry the Tournament Pick'em torch. As such, here it is http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/register/joinprivategroup_assign_team?GID=131736&P=purplepride
Group: Pilot Nation
Password: purplepride
For those of you that already signed up, you will need to do it again. I'm new to this whole league commissioner thing, so if you notice something doesn't look right, let me know and I will fix it.

Re: Tournament Pick'em
Thank you, Blacksheep!
After "technical difficulties" of my own in getting to Vegas this year, I will again offer the prize of an Orleans bucket o' beer to the winner at the 2014 WCC Tournament in Vegas. This prize must be redeemed in person. (The winner may negotiate an alternate prize, should beers not be appropriate).
Now to figure out how far I will have Liberty going...

ALERT: It would appear you have until early Thursday morning, before the round of 64 begins, to fill out your bracket....and after that, there are no changes allowed!
You do NOT have to fill-in your bracket before the Tuesday and Wednesday First Round games begin....

I apparently now have the ability to delete brackets and ban players. And you guys thought David Stern was bad

Re: Tournament Pick'em
Just signed up and had it Auto-Fill a bracket for me. My Final Four: Louisville, Kansas St, South Dakota State, and LIU-Brooklyn/JMU (James Madison?).
With South Dakota State taking down Kansas State in the final.

Ha-ha, I saw that option, but just like when "playing" the lottery...I thought I could do better using my brain. So far, that hasn't worked well, either.mattywizz wrote:Just signed up and had it Auto-Fill a bracket for me. Re: Tournament Pick'em
So I'm making a bracket for work over on ESPN. Wisconsin vs Gonzaga in the Elite Eight.... thoughts? Has anyone seen Wisconsin play. This seems like it might be a Wisconsin upset possibility if the Zags aren't on their game and Wisconsin is, but I haven't seen Wisconsin play. Anyone out there seen a Wisconsin game this year?

Gonzaga will have their hands full with Pitt. That is one tough 8 seed.

Per Yahoo,
That means that you must get it submitted by 9:15 PDT. If you haven't done so already, get your bracket filled out!
I look forward to once again enjoying that bucket of beer in Vegas.

Pomeroy is giving SMC a 60% chance of beating Memphis tomorrow? I like it...that would be a good win for the Gaels.

Hmmm, I don't recall drinking any Michigan beers, but I'll start looking for them....CHAMPIONSHIP
No. 3 Michigan St. vs. No. 12 California
Better beer: Michigan St.
Reasoning: Russian River alone has six of Beer Advocate's top 50 beers in the world, while Bell's and Founders combine for five. But in terms of overall versatility -- from Bell's Hopslam to Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout --the title goes to Michigan St.

Re: Tournament Pick'em
Vote was rigged. He couldn't do it by numbers, which if he had included two brewers near Cal would have been even more of a slaughter( Kern river's Citra DIPA would have done it), so he came up with criteria invented after the fact.
Any of those Michigan breweries have people entering a lottery for a chance at 10 ounces of beer?

I agree it was poorly executed. He thought Pacific was the school in Forest Grove. That's why PN should have done it.
