GU wins over UCLA, to make the Elite 8 for the second time.

Utah currently playing 5 on 8 against Duke+refs.

Congrats to GU, though it took 13 years for Mark to get there.

Huge challenge coming up.

Order is mostly restored, everywhere except the East.  The South and West hold form with #1 and #2 making the Elite Eight: Wisconsin - Arizona and Duke - Gonzaga.  The Midwest is #1 Kentucky vs. #3 Notre Dame.  However, the East is still crazy with #4 Louisville vs. #7 Michigan St.  MSU was the only lower seed in the Sweet Sixteen to win, beating Oklahoma. 

Conference representation is:
ACC:     3 (Duke, Notre Dame, Louisville) (2nd, 3rd, 4th in conf)
Big 10:  2 (Wisc, MSU) (#1, #3 tied in conf)
SEC:     1 (Kentucky) (duh)
Pac-12: 1 (Arizona) (#1 in conf)
WCC:    1 (Gonzaga) (#1 in conf)

Notable in absence is the Big 12 and Big East.  And the ACC #1 Virginia (in that wild East region).  And the WCC is the only non Power 5 still in it.

I have just the opposite reaction....

I absolutely loved the play of the two freshman guards Grayson Allen and Tyus Jones....without them Wisconsin would have won by 10+.  

Allen single handedly brought the Blue Devils back from certain defeat and Jones steady play and ability to score off the pick and roll was about as I good as I've seen.

Congratulations, Duke and Coach K on his fifth national championship.

Maybe I haven't been following college hoops long enough to gain a healthy distaste for Duke. Got nothing against them or Coach K.

Wisconsin, Michigan State, Duke, Kentucky…my order of "likeness" of this year's Final Four teams.
