Prospects at Jeff?
Just saw this in today's Portland Tribune:

Wow... sounds like Jeff is going to be loaded with talent... three sophomores 6'6"+, two of which can handle the point? Dang. Hope they are on our radar. Terrence Jones sounds like a beast - 6'7", 215 lbs, and Haskins relating his game to Magic Johnson.
Anyway, on a funnier note... I like Jerry Glanville and I like what he's doing with Portland State football, but this article totally cracked me up:

The Old Spaghetti Factory is his secret weapon for recruiting? I don't think I've ever heard anyone say "wow" when they go to the good old OSF.
The Demos have a blend of smooth seniors and promising sophomores. The veterans are 5-11 Henry Williams, 6-0 Kalonji Paschal and 6-6 Tyrone White. The sophs are 6-7 Terrance Jones, 6-6 Terrance Ross and 6-7 Noah Kone.
...
But just wait till the sophomores get a bit more experience.
“Two years from now, they’ll all be monsters,” Haskins says. “I would see us being top 10 in the country. Those guys will all be 6-7 to 6-9, and two or three of them will be rated among the top 100 players in the country.”
Jones, 215 pounds, and Ross, a 190-pound wing, are seeing the most action so far. Haskins calls Jones “a Magic Johnson type who can play all five positions.” Ross also can handle point-guard duties, not that the Demos lack for skill there, with Williams, Paschal and White also capable of running the offense. Kone, 175 pounds, plays in the post.

Glanville figures the school itself and PGE Park also are recruiting tools. And he knows the quickest way to a young football player’s heart.
“A big part of recruiting is food,” he says. “We take them places where they’re going to love the food.”
And that’s anywhere from Oba in the Pearl District to the Old Spaghetti Factory in South Waterfront.
“They walk in to the Spaghetti Factory and go, ‘Wow,’ ” Glanville says.
