UP Basketball Hall of Fame
Why haven't any UP basketball players been inducted into the school's Hall of Fame for such a long time? Several more recent players sit at the top of the school's record books. I could see strong cases made for the induction of:
- Luke Sikma
- Jared Stohl
- Pooh Jeter
- TJ Campbell

Re: UP Basketball Hall of Fame
There's a pretty big backlog of soccer all Americans and World Cup players that should be dealt with, first.
Not to mention the five year and after retirement rules.
That pretty much wipes your four to the back burner.

Re: UP Basketball Hall of Fame
Officially, there is no limit on the number of inductees into the HOF each year (or every other year if that's what the AD prefers), so no one actually has to be "dealt" with first....but the reality is the HOF class sizes have been limited in recent years as the pool to choose from weakened somewhat.
Of the four MBB players mentioned, none are currently eligible due to the 5 years away from UP rule and the no longer playing professionally rule, that Geez alluded to.
Here's the eligibility criteria:

And remember, someone has to nominate an individual, and all nominees must be considered by the HOF committee. Here's the page you'll need to visit to make a nomination.

Finally, up until this year the HOF inductions have taken place during UP Reunion Weekend in June, but starting this year, I believe, the induction ceremony will take place in the fall (probably to coincide with a soccer match), so nominations need to be submitted soon to be considered in the current cycle.
