Re: 2018 Bracket Challenge
Back to talking about brackets . . .
In one of the craziest years ever, WW Winkie has lead wire to wire so far. Impressive!
Stoney still has the most possible points and is the clear favorite to win it. I haven't seen you in Vegas in a number of years, so maybe the bucket of beer will get you to go next year?
Playing around with the scenario generator, the following brackets are still in it:
WW Winkie
Stoney
Deaner
7589
Cry Me a River (not sure on who this is?)
Woodless!
Blacksheep
I am the lowest point total that still has a chance (need Kansas to win it all (Rock Chalk!) and Michigan to win no more than one more game). Pilot2002 is the only bracket with no more points possible.

How about Loyola! It's so fun watching them play. I just need one more win out of them to keep my bracket alive. It will be fun rooting along with Sister Jean next Saturday!
Cry Me a River is the only one out after tonight. It's down to 6. WW Winkie still holds the lead, but it's down to just one point.
MaizeBlue joins the ranks of those with no more points possible.

That would be mine ... just happy to be in the top half this year for once!

Re: 2018 Bracket Challenge
I think if Loyola wins out, and Kansas and Texas Tech win tomorrow, I tie for the win. 1/3 of a bucket o' beer sounds good. As a start.

There is a tie breaker based upon the score of the final game, so you either win the bucket or you don't.

Re: 2018 Bracket Challenge
So of the 8 possible outcomes, Stoney wins 5 of them!
Deaner and Winkie need Loyola to become the lowest seed to win the tournament. Interestingly, the current record belongs to Harold Pressley's '85 Villanova Team, which won as an 8 seed. We could see Loyola break the record by beating the record holder!
Winkie, Deaner and Stoney are currently 1,1,2. I'm currently sitting in the middle of the pack at 9th, so I need everything to go my way.

So close I can taste it! I win if one of these two things happens: Michigan makes the title game or Villanova wins the title.
I'd say the odds are in my favor!

Congratulations on the victory Stoney! It sure was fun watching Loyola make its run, but they just ran out of gas.

Victory is mine!!! But yes... would have much preferred seeing Loyola win, even if it cost me the Pilot Nation bracket win.
Guess I'll have to make it to Vegas next year... hopefully we'll get a game on Friday at least!
