Pilots @ USF 1/24, 7:00pm

The slog through the WCC season continues in San Francisco tonight.  The Dons are 16-3, losing at home only to GU. That game was tied with 3 minutes left before GU finished with a 15-2 run.  Vegas has it about a 78-58 game for the Dons.  Sounds reasonable.

I'm only up this late because I should be writing my dissertation... that halftime score tells me I need to focus on writing.

Down 42-21 at half, Pilots lose by 22, 83-61. USF beat the spread. In the first half.

Well, about what you would expect, all things considered. Not bad, not great. Eyes on Loyola, Santa Clara, and Pepperdine home games which are all possible wins. I'm sticking with my 2-14 preseason conference prediction, though admittedly 1-15 is equally likely.

I think if I set the over/under at .5 wins, I'd get more taking the under.  Any degenerates out there need some action? Woodless!?

In the face of all reason, I want the over! I believe in miracles. Maybe even upset Pepperdine this week!!!! But if not them, still got LMU and Santa Clara! I believe!

I have to admit that I feel the same way, but as time goes by and I sink further into despair, it's hard to keep believing.

I hear you! I don't understand what's happening here, there is some talent on this team. I put the probability of 0 WCC wins at 10%, 1 win at 50%, 2 wins at 39%, and 3 or more at 1%.

In some ways it would be most memorable if they went 0-15, setting up a huge clash with Santa Clara! Maybe sell out Chiles!
