Pilots @ PU, 1/25/20, 5:00PM
Pilots move on to play the Waves in an early start 5PM game. PU is 3-3 in conference, beating USD, LMU and SCU, two of those on the road. They are still led by Colbey Ross, who seems to always torch UP.
I have not seen any word on injuries or who will be available tonight. The game is only broadcast on the WCC stream. Wonder why the early start time? Vegas has PU favored by 11 points, with a O/U of 148, and an 88% prediction of a PU win.

Ross torches everybody!up7587 wrote:They are still led by Colbey Ross, who seems to always torch UP.
Presumably Ross, a junior, will be around for one more year, but he could be having professional aspirations as he is averaging a WCC-best 7.4 assists per game, and nationally he's second in total assists (148). Ross has more career assists than any junior in the country with 566 (second place is 58 assists behind).
In addition, Ross is now taking aim at the all-time PU career scoring record after becoming the 13th player in PU history to score 1,500 points in PU's OT win over SCU last Thursday when he scored 24. Ross has scored 20 or more points in five straight games and is averaging 22.8 points in that span.
Neither UP or PU are particularly physical teams, but it wouldn't be a good idea for UP to start fouling the Waves as PU ranks #1 nationally in free throw percentage at 83.2% (the Pilots are 255th with 66.7%). Ross leads the WCC at 87.9% and has made 116 free throws, third-most nationally.

Final was PU 80-69. How does Vegas nail that score?
Diabate scored 25, but Adams, White and Walker were 2-13 combined on 3P tries. PU had 14 offensive rebounds (10 more than Pilots), and Pilots had 15 turnover to PU's 10.
