So there will be four games at the Chiles Center on Sunday. Teams involved in addition to the Pilots will be Villanova, Oregon, Michigan State, Oregon State, Florida, West Virginia, and Portland State. All four D-1 schools in Oregon will be in action at Chiles. Along with a team from the Big East, SEC, ACC, and Big Ten. That is a pretty exciting event for UP to be hosting.
Anybody thinking of taking in all four games?

The WCC late squad isn't doing so hot. Pacific loses to IDAHO, San Diego loses to New Mexico State, and Gonzaga is down 5 at the half to Purdue.

Idaho was 1-5 coming in, and that was a UOP home game. Idaho is #350 Kenpom. Ouch!

Zags lose by 18, 84-66. They couldn't handle Purdue's massive center.

Timme played well.
Purdue made Gonzaga look very ordinary.
The multitude of Zag fans were very quiet the last 10 minutes.

Michigan State hangs on to edge Oregon. As a reward the Spartans get the mighty Pilots at Chiles. Tom Izzo vs Shantay. Love it.

This is the return game from the home-and-home that started in East Lansing in 2013. Good of MSU to finally come through.

Interesting rematch Sunday in the Chiles Center between OSU and PSU after the Vikings beat the Beavers in Corvallis for the first time ever a week ago, 79-66.

In the Chiles Center on Sunday with times and tv TBD:

UP vs Michigan St. (PKI 5th place)
Florida vs. West Virginia PKL 5th place)
Villanova vs. Oregon (PKI 7th place)
OSU vs. PSU (PKL 7h place)

Yes, all 3 state schools from Oregon come into the Chiles Center winless during PK's tournament.

I'd be lying if i didn't like seeing the Boilers handle business against Gonzaga. Matt Painter and the Boilermakers are a fun and exciting team to watch. Got to love those 7-footers!

The Pilots climbed from KenPom 110 to 107 this evening, most likely because Kent St. played toe-to-toe with #2 Houston in Houston before finally succumbing, 49-44, after leading by 10 in the first half.

After losses by#1 UNC and #3 Kansas this week, there's a good chance Houston will take over the top spot on Monday for the first time in 40 years.

MALIBU, California – Due to health and safety protocols, the Pepperdine men's basketball team will postpone Saturday's game at Grand Canyon until Saturday, December 17th at 5 p.m. PT.

The previously scheduled Pepperdine vs. Cal State L.A. contest will be moved to Monday, December 19th at 1 p.m.

The Waves (4-2) are expected to return to action in Malibu next week as they invite Cal Poly (2-3) to Firestone on Wednesday, November 30th at 7 p.m.

The Eastern Washington game against Gonzaga was postponed for the same reason, health and safety protocols.

San Diego spent Friday and Saturday night getting used to playing in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, unfortunately they lost twice. To a very good New Mexico St. on Friday and tonight against a not so good Nichols State in their first D1 win of the season.

Santa Clara upset a very good Iona squad tonight in the Orleans Arena. The win jumped SCU from KenPom 107 to 94.

Might have happened last year before LMU fell off a cliff.

Edit: Yep, Santa Clara moved into the top 100 after their Nov 16 win. LMU moved out after their Nov 29 loss. GU, SMC, USF, BYU were top 100 all year.

Except for Pacific everyone in the WCC has a + adjEM on kenpom. Pacific is hanging out in the 200s with Oregon State at the bottom of the PAC.
