Thanks to BobZag from GU boards for finding this quote from Rival:
"Portland head coach Eric Reveno is unofficially the most technologically advanced man we’ve met in college basketball. His new I-Phone is wired up to the point where he’s got his recruiting database, clips of his offense, directions to gyms in Vegas AND his favorite Johnny Cash songs all in one."
Nice to hear! We need every little edge we can get at UP, so having a tech-savvy coach is definitely a plus. They also do a lot of really cool video work... they tape practices and go over them with the guys and keep really detailed stats - all of it to help the guys work on very specific aspects of their games.
Of course he has to prove it in the win column before we annoint him the greatest thing since sliced bread, but anyone who is paying attention has to be encouraged by the work ethic, the defensive improvement, the recruiting, and the the tech-savviness of Reveno. I think we've got a very good coach out on The Bluff!
