Nicholas Named #11 Player in State of Washington
And that's #11 at any level... which isn't too shabby considering the top-level HS talent that is in Washington right now. It's from a Seattle sports blog so naturally they don't know much about the kid from Spokane. Still... I really get the feeling like we got a good one in Nicholas. Maybe not super flashy, but tough as nails and a true big-bodied banger:

This is definitely a big deal, I've seen 6 of the 10 in front of him play in person and wow, to even be runner up to those guys bodes VERY well for the potential of this recruit.... Haha so for a nickname, you called him "tough as nails", does that mean we have to call him "Lenny"?

I like the fact that he has been putting on a show on the summer AAU circuit.Even though it is only HS Club ball the mention of good offensive skills blends in well with Luke and Kramer and other bigs during 10-11 season.
Now if he would just grow another inch or two .......The news keeps getting better everyday. Imagine the talent level rising with the unity and toughness that Rev and staff keep the team at .

Sounds like a great player. I'm surprised Tony Wroten isn't #1 on the list.

He would be, but you can't teach a player to be Josh Smith's size... The kid is an absolute beast...

True. It's very subjective when you get to #1 and #2 though... I thought that Wroten was considered the #1 player in his class in the nation for a while, and Brandon Roy's father said that he was ahead of where Roy was at his age... They'll both be tremendous college players.

The scary part is, Smith and Wroten are on the same AAU squad...
