Re: VEGAS!
Of those planning on attending (or those not able to make it, but there in spirit) the tourney this year, would you be interested in some sort of special edition Pilot Nation t-shirt to honor the occasion?
There are several themes that could be used, with a good example in Rochin54's profile pic.
Thoughts?

Re: VEGAS!
I'm in for a PN Tourney shirt. I don't know that it needs to have a beer bottle on it, though.

Re: VEGAS!
Please ponder what said shirt would say... and what art/graphics, text, etc...
If any of you have artistic abilities, feel free to sketch something up.

Re: VEGAS!
Thanks Blacksheep,
I just booked last two nights at Orleans thru Orbitz (I guess U can call them my travel agent on the web, lol). $75 bucks a night. Now I may just have to stay at a no-tell motel nearby unless I want to cough up the money to stay at the Palms or sponge off of somebody who already has a room the first two nights.
I'm optimistic the Pilot's can get over the hump and make it to the championship game against the Bulldogs or Gaels (You knew I had to put that in there just to irk some uptight Zagwagon fan, lol)
I think another shirt is in order, I'm presently still enjoying the shade of PURPLE on the current edition. Sign me up for one big boy X-L please.....I have no ideas on graphics...but...maybe a WCC conference tourney angle could be pursued and if not dated it could become a perpetual "March Madness"
(WCC,NIT,NCAA) tourney type shirt. I'm sure between all the copyright experts, stat's guys, WCC experts on PN we can make an "unofficial" shirt. Or better yet it is PilotNut that does all the work and deserves the attaboys for all that jazz.

Re: VEGAS!
Just got my tickets for the tournament. Does anyone know if the Orleans has a seating map? Wondering where section 103 is.

Re: VEGAS!
There is a link on this page for the pop up seating chart:
http://www.orleansarena.com/event-calendar/zappos.com-wcc-basketball-championships
Looks to be in the section behind one of the benches.

Re: VEGAS!
Thanks! Looks like my Orleans seat is not exactly on par with my EACC seat, but it's pretty good. Hopefully I won't find some yokel sitting in it.

Re: VEGAS!
103 is where we sat last year. the seats are pretty good, The seats away from the court are pretty bad, (the horseshoe and the first two sections at the ends)
The dark blue seats aren't so good because they are on the floor. That's why they are cheaper.

Thankfully I am all the way over in 104...
I think I may have the exact same seats I had last year....

Re: VEGAS!
The Office of Alumni Relations will hold a pre-game, pre-funk at Brendan's Irish Pub in the Orlean's Hotel one and a half hours before tip off. I know the Nation will represent.

Re: VEGAS!
Good to know; these events were enjoyable last year.... the problem with the timing, though, is that if we are the #2 or #3 seed, we play in the late games, so the pre-funks are during the early games, which I do enjoy watching...
Brendan's is a great spot for the event... good bar, lots of TV's showing the games from down the hall... and of course lots of purple.

Re: VEGAS!
Not to mention $5.00 bucket of beers.
Not good to have to miss the early games, but well worth it to gather the Pilot Nation together.

Re: VEGAS!
As of February 3, all reserved seats for the 2010 Zappos.com West Coast Conference Basketball Championships at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas are sold out.
To accommodate the continued demand for tickets, a limited number of all-session Standing Room Only (SRO) seating packages are available for $135 per seat:
--- If additional reserved all-session tickets become available, the Orleans will assign those reserved seats to SRO ticket holders on a first-come, first-served basis
--- SRO purchasers will be allowed to pick up their tickets beginning on Friday, March 5 at 10:00 am at the Orleans Arena Box Office
--- SRO tickets allow the bearer entrance onto the concourse at the Orleans Arena at tip-off. The bearer must then locate an open seat, and may sit in that seat for the duration of the session unless the original ticket holder claims that seat. If an open seat cannot be found within 30 minutes after the game starts, the bearer may request a refund for that session at the Box Office for a refund of that game only
--- These packages also include tickets for all four women’s basketball sessions on Friday-Monday (all women’s tickets are general admission)
