A verbal commitment is just what it says. You declare where you want to go. It has no NCAA recognized bearing on either scholarships or acceptance.

Yeah, I declared I was going to Oxford, but apparently my acceptance letter was lost in the mail...

You too? Ole Miss is a tough place to get into. Or maybe you had the wrong zip code. It's 38677.

portlandpilots.com has not reported the late signing of another player. While still possible, I think it unlikely that another player, including Akwenuke, have accepted a scholarship from the Pilots and signed an NLI. I think it likely that we learn of the fourth member of this class in the spring.

At this point I think it is safe to say that the internet rumor is just that... an unsupported internet rumor...

I heard somewhere that not everything you read online is 100% fact. Shocked I am certain that refers to the rest of the 'net, not this site...

That dunk off the inbound play was ridiculous.

Oooooh... can't wait to see Cason and Bailey (and Carr too!) in purple next year.

And I'm very excited about what our remaining open scholarship may bring - with this amazing winning season we're having and with a great class already lined up, I think we could land a very nice player.

Thanks for the video. I'm looking forward to seeing how Rev combines the heady high basketball IQ style with athleticism when Bailey and Cason come aboard. I can't remember a Pilots team with two players like them...and with Tim Douglas penetrating and feeding them the ball? Wow...the future looks amazing.
