I was 5 for 5 on the Freshman Team, 9 for 10 on the First Team.

Landale was POY, but that was a no-brainer.

Somehow Norvell was Newcomer of the Year, despite that being completely illogical. Pineiro at USD was on the First Team, and Norvell was only Honorable Mention, yet Norvell was Newcomer of the Year over Pineiro.

Few was Coach of the Year. Fine. But honestly, wasn't Stoudamire's work more impressive?

Congratulations to Marcus Shaver Jr. on the well-deserved honor!  I look forward to seeing him on the All WCC first team next season.

Coach of the Year: This is always a tough call when GU is just so strong and consistent.  The fact that Few is able to do what he does, year after year, even when they have to replace significant contributors, is just so impressive.  I would have a hard time giving it to anyone else this season over Few; even though Stoudamire did a very admirable job at Pacific, they are "only" the 5th seed.

Will either Fahrenson or Hogland make the list next year? (Assuming Phillips redshirts; Clark is a newcomer, not a Freshman.)

Marcus was also honorable mention all-WCC.  

I wonder how close Phillip was to Okonkwo for Defensive Player of the Year? Phillip had more rebounds, played more minutes, had only 7 fewer blocks.
