This game will likely be a preview of the opening game in Las Vegas. SCU's top two scorers were out against SMC with injuries, not sure if they'll play against UP. But Broncos gave their traditional rival Gaels all they could handle. Perhaps they will be spent, but it really doesn't matter.

Pilots fell behind when their hot shooting left to start the 2nd half. They kept working and closed to within two inside 30 seconds, before falling 73-68 as SCU made their FTs to close out the game.

So it is one conference win in two seasons. On to Las Vegas and a rematch with the Broncos.
