Shows how little I've paid attention to college basketball this year. The Round of 64 doesn't start until tomorrow, you can still sign up until tomorrow at 9:00.

I had GA Tech going to the Final Four, but now that their best player is out I’ve got Sister Jean over Coach Rev.

I made the same decision.  I'm wondering if Sr. Jean changed her bracket also.

I will be rooting for Rev, but picked the Ramblers.

UP7587 is currently in first place. He deleted his PN account a few months ago, so I think as commissioner of the bracket challenge, I should delete his bracket. Thoughts?

I don't know the Pac-12 and Big-10 records in this year's tournament, but the teams from the west have got to be doing better so far...

I think Fan4Life was the only one who picked Oregon over Iowa. Nobody had both the Ducks and Beavs making the Sweet 16.

7587 is still tied for first, but he had Iowa winning it all. I guess I won't delete his bracket, though now he's probably okay with it

How 'bout the Pac 12? Still 4 teams in it and at least one is guaranteed to make the elite 8.

Once again, I finish the round in first place. I feel like it's fleeting as 1/2 the brackets have more possible points than me. Pilot2002, who has been hovering in last place most of the time is tied for most points possible and would win if higher seeds win the rest of the games. Given how this tournament has gone, that seems unlikely.

I have Loyola Chicago winning one more game. I'm conflicted, but I think I will be rooting for Sr. Jean!

I think the odds on favorite to win is the Bob Cantu Buyout Fund (Sorry I don't know your PN Handle). Lots of ways for you to win.

Probably not the greatest way to still be relevant in March ("That really bad team that beat Oregon State and went winless in conference and fired its head coach who only won 7 conference games in 5 years"), but hey, at least we can say we beat an Elite 8 tournament team (and now have our first transitive Q1 win!).

Given how little publicity we get besides the Zags bashing us to git gud I'm enjoying the memes and laughs from social media for now while we wait for Coach Legans to build his team, both players and staff.

But the Cowboys had 8 wins in conference, 1 more than Terry’s whole career.

I thought I was hallucinating when Bill Raftery mentioned during the USC/Oregon game that Isaiah and Evan Mobley's dad played at Portland.  I was not!

Mobley played collegiately at Portland, where he averaged 7.2 points and 5.6 rebounds as a 1990 starter.  He then played a season at Cal Poly Pomona, where he was the team captain. * * * He graduated from Portland in 1990 with a degree in Criminal Justice.

Looks like we are down to MaizeBluePurple and Pilot2002. Maize needs his Michigan Wolverines to win a couple more games, otherwise 2002 wins it.

I hadn't made that connection either. I never knew Eric Mobley was a Pilot, but I do remember watching him play for the Vancouver Grizzlies back in the day!

Up until I read your post, I thought the list of ex-Pilots that played for the Grizzlies started and ended with Greg Anthony.

Different Eric Mobley.

Vancouver Grizzly Mobley played collegiately at Pitt, as I recall.

UP's Eric Mobley never played in the NBA, but he did play 3 years at UP before he played professionally in Portugal, Mexico, and Indonesia,and with Meadowlark Lemon’s Harlem All-Stars...

Well, I was wrong, Maize can still win despite Michigan losing to a play in team. He needs Houston to make it further than Gonzaga. Otherwise, 2002 wins it.

First of all, congratulations to 2002 for the win. Both of the final 2 teams is pretty impressive!

Most importantly, what a hell of a game for the Zags. That game is an instant classic!  I hate rooting for Gonzaga, but by the end of the game, i just couldn't help myself.
