Hey, I got one upset pick right, #12 JMU. Doesn't make up for the eleven picks I got wrong so far, but celebrate your wins, right?

Re: 2024 Bracket Challenge
First round review time:
After the first day, Deaner, it's you me and some guy Michael in first place. Let's go,!
I'm not going to mention that I'm also way ahead in possible points!
Also, I'm not going to mention that Sound Voltex, who I recently met in Hawaii is in last place! Oops, sorry, didn't mean to call you out

'Tis only the first round. Possible points is still near the top so plenty of time to escape (I think this happened last year also.)

Let's start with me having to respond to this post. Sound, what a second round for you! I know you're only currently 7th, but you are still second in possible points.
This guy named Michael, who I've now confirmed the identity of, has remained in first, with me right behind him in second. We both have the same possible points. Sound and Shambles Seamus are tied one point behind in possible points.
Okay, it's time to talk some trash. . . Really Shipstad WSU in the final?

Okay, it has been over two weeks, why did the trash talking stop, and what are the results, and who is the WINNER?blacksheep wrote:Sound Voltex wrote:blacksheep wrote:

Can't speak for everyone else, but my trash talking ended after I didn't get a single point after the first weekend ended.

Re: 2024 Bracket Challenge
Considering the overall winner in Yahoo got 174 points, and I scraped out 56 points, I had nothing to say.
I was waiting for the commissioner to do a wrap up, but he may have moved on to other interests.
Going into the Final Game, Michael's Majestic Bracket had the lead with 81 points. But he picked Purdue. Shambles Seamus had UConn, and the 6 points gained gave him a total of 82 for the narrow win. Sound Voltex used his UConn pick to garner third place. ShipstadPilot11 envisioned a Creighton - Wash. St. final, and that plus having no teams left in the Elite Eight got him the booby prize.
