Re: Annual Pilot Nation Bracket Challenge
Rochin, I do have one question/request. I don't know how most people feel about the scoring (1,2,4,8,16,32) but I like it better as (1,2,3,4,5,6). If other people agree, I think we should change it. If everyone (mostly Rochin54, our commissioner) disagrees, then fine, I will deal with it.

Re: Annual Pilot Nation Bracket Challenge
I've used the 1,2,3,4,5,6 as well in the past in small groups. It works well. I'll go with whatever the organizer or moderator chooses though...

Whatever y'all deem the most fair... It doesn't matter I'm usually in the bottom 15% regardless...

Re: Annual Pilot Nation Bracket Challenge
1-6 is my preference as well. It makes the the first couple rounds more interesting and count more, but still rewards you for picking the correct teams that advance deep into the tournament. I've never liked the "geometric progression" system.

It is just what you want your bracket to be called. "MesaPilot1" would be a good name.

OK, limited bracketology research (i.e. nothing I didn't hear on the radio driving home), and supreme confidence means I'm in line for a million Yahoo dollars. The Pliny will be on me, boyos.

Re: Annual Pilot Nation Bracket Challenge
I hope Goldhelmet entered for the Million; great start at 12 for 12.
I note that every one of my losses was a power conference team I thought should lose, not doing it. Guess my anti-PC bias is hurting me.

Wow, Goldhelmet had VCU over UCLA, and only missed it by a hair!

Re: Annual Pilot Nation Bracket Challenge
Yikes, two more stalwart PNers finished strong (WKU!) and end up tied with GH for 15 of 16 start. Congrats to Athleticjames and Allepiek.
I am doomed.

Blasted Bruins!!! Dang, VCU almost came all the way back, but a fadeaway jumper was not the best shot for Maynor. Collison did play really good D on that last play, I'll give him that.
Yahoo cracks me up... it says at 15 out of 16 I'm in 12,855th place overall, but in the 99th percentile. So how do they separate the people with the same number of wins and rank them like that?

Re: Annual Pilot Nation Bracket Challenge
They separate them with multiple rounds
I'd take all ratings lightly at this point. The next couple rounds will separate the men from the boys.
